    I could have sworn I read at MS that acft from fs2000 forward would be compatible. But now I have read elsewhere that only gmax will work. Which is true?

    EDIT: Panic attack is over. I just realized 90% of my acft are gmax :7
    But my fighters and acft carriers are not!

    I know it will support some older scenery packs designed for FS2K ---- if that helps.

    Forgive me if this is a newb question, but how do you tell if an aircraft is GMax or not? I know only GMax have the reflective texture, but other than that?

    From what I was told by Bill Lyons and a few other designers, anything that worked with FS2k2 will work with FS2K4..as long as the appropriate SDK was followed........as for scenery, Bill told me that it should work just fine but may require a lil' tweaking.

    Spacey, its not only gMax which has reflective textures, for FSDS 2 as well supports it :-)

    The reflective map function isn't even in GMAX it's the MS makemdl.exe plugin that performs the switch. ;-)
