Default Nels, Has the Glide slope capture been fixed in FS2004?

I dont know if this ever was a problem but whenever I flew the Dreamfleet 737-400 , the plane would dip down to the ground and just about crash on glide slope capture. I dont know if the ils capture was all that good either.

I stand corrected if I am wrong.

    I live at CYQR.

    Thanks
    Vincent

My dreamfleet 734 always worked.... maybe you did it wrong or something whatever it is, i like flying the 734 in manually so it doesn't matter to me

I and others apprecite your hand flying skills, I one day hope to have a few of them,

I was interested in the 737, 757, and all other jets with ILS, CAT III ,

I was wanting to know if we must tweak it to stay into a fake or real looking CAT III app

    THanks

I second Scott - the Dreamfleet 737 has always functioned well on Cat3-style approaches for me.

Lands on the hashmarks all the time, with no crazy anomolies with the glidepath.

The bigger question is... Will the Dreamfleet 737 simply WORK in FS2004?

It will once they've given it the gmax treatment ;-)

Not all runways are CAT 3 ;-)

    Cheers,

There are some good articles on this and oyher sites discussing CAT I, II, and III. THe minimums and other parameters are also included.

I do not have the specifics for the webb address but I searched and found most of them.

Kope this is a bit of help.

I don't recall having any problems with ILS and Glide Slope captures in FS2002. However, I never did such an approach into every airoprt so that's not to say that it isn't a problem at certain airports.
I find that approaching the ILS in the correct configuration works a dream for me.
Right speed, Right fuel load, right angle etc......

I aint a pilot, so it may not be 'correct' but it's correct for me. Sure wouldn't like to test it in a real Heavy though :-lol

I've never had any trouble either, but then again, i'm one for hand flying, and i've only ever done about 10 autolands in FS2002,all in the PSS A320.

    Cheers,
