Hey Chris!
Check back to my post on page 3 in this forum, Nels posted me some shotsof Manchester, Leeds Bradford and POL VOR near my home town of Huddersfield.
Have a look at the shots there, to save him posting again!!
By the look of it, not much has changed, but hopefully something at EGCC will have been revamped before ACOF is released!

Did see the post of Manchester and Pole hill VOR etc... Don't think he posted any of the Runcorn Bridge or Liverpool John Lennon....... Don't like asking as he must be soooooo busy doin Screenies I bet he aint had chance to fly proper, like a full atc controlled flight or something.

I know what you mean Geoff, I felt a bit awkward asking him!
I'm from Huddersfield, over the hills from you! Do you go spotting at Liverpool and Manchester? I'm going to Leeds Bradford sometime this week, and Manchester the week after I think!

Don't actually go spotting as a rule,
Sometimes take my lad to the viewing park at Manchester if the weather is nice. Always check on the scanner first to make sure that they are landing at rw 6L or it gets a bit boring otherwise.
Spenat a day in the tower at Manchester, about 6mths ago, Now let me tell ya, it's a must if you aint done it. Real eye opener. Also went down ito the approach control / radar room where they all sit around screens in the dark ...... lol. Was a great day out, I have some pics somewhere on my hdd, will see if I can route em out. I actually posted them on the screenshot forum some time ago, lemme see if I can find em.

I don't go "spotting" as such, just go every so often to get some photos!
I can't wait to get some shots of the new Jet2 aircraft at Leeds:D
I'm quite lucky where I live, as I am on the final approaches for Manchester, Leeds/Bradford and get the occasional easyjet 737 going over heading for Liverpool:D:D Gotta admit,easyjet is one of my fave airlines-i love that orange paint!!

I was wondering if? If Easy jet decided to buy a 777, would it fit into Liverpool airport.

A 777 would definately struggle getting into Liverpool!!
What are the largest aircraft that Liverpool get? 757's? I know the MyTravel 757's fly in daily, but I haven't seen anything larger! Then again, I haven't been there for about 6 months:-roll
