Invisible Aircraft

I downloaded b29b_910.zip - it is a large file. There are two model file choices. The 2nd one being for slower computers like mine. I am not sure about "swapping model" files according to the directions or modifying the model cfg. The only way I can see the B29 is by selecting 50% view selection. There is no Virtual Cockpit view which the instructions seem to indicate there should be. Anyone else have had this aircrat and know how to modify the model file or model.cfg to suit my slower PC? Vern - Since you're asking this question in the FS2002 forum, I have to assume you're using that version.

The B-29 file that you asked about is designed for FS2004; it may or may not work with FS2002. My luck with mixing the two is about 50% or less.

I was going to download the file and check it out for you, but the time is getting late for me. I'll give it a try tomorrow and see if I can be of any help.

I checked out the B-29 file this morning and can't make it work at all. The aircraft doesn't show up in the preview pane or on the runway. I'm quite certain that the model file cannot be revised to be compatible with FS2002.

The B-29 installer program made a point of stating that it was "for FS2004 only".

Jerry, Thanks very much. I do get it to show up but only by reducing the "view" to at least 50%. Going to stick to FS2002 aircraft I guess and try to find a B29. Vern
