I'm now flying in B747-400 in FS2002 Pro. I've got an interested question in GPS. Could the GPS (or other instruction device) detect the adverse weather(eg. thunderstorm) and reflect on the GPS screen?
Regards

I don't think you can. I mean, it doesn't look like you can. The only possibility I can think of is either ATIS or Automated Weather.

LOL, Hey flyman,
There may not be an actual 'gauge' that displays the weather ahead, but have a look here for a couple of weather programs that use realtime data to create weather You do have a screen that will come up to give the weather ahead in a display. It will be a text display as seen in the screenshots. There was one shot of a 'color weather radar' display but I don't think it was part of the program.
FS Meteo is one and Active Sky the other, Here's some sites and the reviews of them:

Reality XP have released the very first working colour weather radar, and all of its functions are fully operational. It does actually detect the 3D clouds ahead and their severity! It is available on its own (payware) at www.reality-xp.com, and also as part of the upcoming Dreamfleet 727 package :-wave
