    Default 737-700-900 Sound files

Hi Everyone, I have a 737-700-900 sound file which is an excellent far as sounding just like the real 737-700-900 series aircraft, except one problem the inside of the plane on take off is louder than if you go on the outside of the plane then its more quiet than the inside, which its suppose too be the other way around, where its louder on the outside than it is on the inside , and the inside is more quiet.. I was wondering if anyone else has this same sound file and if so and you fixed please tell me how you fixed it, also if anyone knows of any 737-700-900 sound anywhere else one flightsim websites that are the right way also please let me know. Because I like the one I have fas sounding like the actual one, but at the same time I'd like too switch the sounds files so the louder part is on the outside and put the quiet part where it belongs on the inside whoever did that file did it backwards.. I can't write that person either for the file too let them know that because they didn't leave there e-mail, like most designers do... Thanks again and Happy Holidays too everyone....

    G'Day Bill

Could you please tell me where you got the file and the file name?

I think you can change the volume of the sounds in the sound.cfg

Yes I got it from Avsim, the name of it is FlightFX 737-600/-700/-800/-900 sounds... I don't know how too get into the .cfg files without changing there format, because I've done that before and they change all those kind of files like that throughout the computer so I kind of try too leave them alone...

I also use this soundset and Im quite satisfied with it, although it can get quite loud. When I fly the NG 737's, I usually go into the Sound option and tune the "Engine" slider lower (around 25%). That should give a more realistic engine volume.

You can right click on the sound.cfg and click open with. Then choose a program such as notepad and unckeck the box "always use this program to open" (or something like that)

It shouldnt make all the files then change... but even if it did. It wont hurt the files.... it only changes the way you open them.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Im not sure mate. I just said I think that maybe you can in the sound.cfg look for something with volume maybe.
Someone on this forum should be able to help you out.
