Default oh oh...i messed up an airport with a download on AFCAD file!!!

I have this airport(SABE) and it didnt look original so I downloaded the scenery for it. It looks great now, well, until yesterday. I figures, theres not enough gates at this airport so I downloaded the AFCAD file for the SABE. I launched FS8. When I went to that airport and selected to start and the runway I started near inside a hangar!

I want this airport to be back they way it was. How can i do this?
    Thanks in advance:)

Depending on what version you have of AFCAD, there's a way to revert to the original.
Click File | "Catalog / Delete / Restore Airports"
In the list, choose the SABE airport
    Click "Restore Stock Airport"

    And voila!

Note, this is with AFCAD version 1.40, dunno if it's the same with all versions ( I don't seem to remember that earlier versions had such a thing ).

BTW - If your wondering what caused the problem, well the scenery addon you added was very different from the default (no surprise with MS really), so the gate placement/runway placement was strongly affected.

Yes I did that. This AFCAD file was for an ADDON scenery and I unzipped it again in a Temp folder and guess what... it has the AFCAD file for that airport:-roll thank you anyways;)

    so yes i fixed it:)

Ok Falcon, let's work through this! :7

You got the new scenery file all set up, then you went and downloaded the afcad file for that downloaded scenery? Or was the afcad file for the default scenery?????

If it was for defualt scenery, it does you no good. But, if you don't want to dump your new scenery, you can edit the afcad file by opening up SABE and dragging your parking spots to where they need to be. You do this by getting to afcad in the sim, putting your plane in slew mode, opening SABE in afcad, selecting "lock to sim" which will show you exactly where your plane is, moving your plane in the sim to the appropiate parking spots, and creating spots in afcad at each spot you rplane is moved to.

But, first make sure the file you downloaded was for the add-on, not the default..:7

No. I already fixed the problem. The file I downloaded was for the DEFAULT SABE and I was using the ADDON SABE so it did not work;). The wanted to the see that maybe that the addon I downloaded for SABE had an AFCAD file for itself. It did. I just instlalled the AFCAD file that came with the ADDON SABE so itll work. And it does.

    Thanks anyway:)
