    Default sound file problem

    hi,
i downloaded a dauph helo file the other day. it came without a sound file. it said the cut and paste a sound file from the bell helo and put it in the dauph aircraft folder....which i did, and that worked. However, i also downloaded a custom sound file and tried putting it in the sound folder...but no sound happened when i select the aircraft in flight sim. i've tried a dozen different ways of putting the sound in the folder....still nothing. the new sound files DO work. i can click on them and hear them play in media player. any suggestions.

It's not enough to just paste a sound file in an aircrafts sound folder. You'll also have to tweak the sound configuration (sound.cfg) file in order to make specific sound files to work properly. See the configuration file sound.cfg in the sound folder of the default Beach Baron, i think it's commented enough to make clear what i mean.
