Hello,

I have downloaded some of Project AI aircrafts, but seem
to have problems especially with the MD-80's textures. Well
I'm using the blank texture of the MD-81 and want to use the
Continental textures but it never shows. I have taken out the
textures.blank and replace them with textures.COA-Continental
Airlines. Then I went to the aircraft.cgf and changed the necessary
info. and still no luck......can someone help me on this??

The PAI MD-80 aircraft textures will NOT work for the PAI MD-81, they are in the format of the MD-81 ONLY,and or vica versa.I am pretty sure the texture set you are refering to is the one for the PAI MD-80. I KNOW what you are talking about, I tried to do the very same thing you are trying to do. You have to repaint the MD-80 textures or MD-81 textures in the continental livery manually, or DL the one made specifically for the MD-80, MD-81, etc... Open up any of your textures for the PAI MD-81 with imagepro, and see if the texture formats are all the SAME for the MD-81 texture templates. In other words, the templates should look the SAME for the MD-81 series just different liveries. If not, you MAY have a texture template set for the MD-80. That would explain why they are not showing up. Also check to see if you have the models for the refective(DXT format), or non refective (32 bit format),and their respective texture sets. They will NOT be interchangeable. One model for each texture type respectively. Hope this helps Whisper, Im pretty experienced with aircraft re-texturing. Good Luck RMan32
