Default problems getting aircraft off the ground in FS 2002 and 2000

I have moved and don't believe I have changed anything in my computer relating to FS. I am now having trouble getting any aircraft to take off. I have reduced the fuel on board, and added flaps before takeoff roll. All the planes do is keep running along the ground without any upward movement. I thought it was only in FS2002, but I tried FS2000 and the same thing occurs.

If I have to reload the programs I am worried because I have a lot of third party planes, gauges, airports and scenery which I don't want to lose and have to reload.

Anyone with a suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

    Is your joystick working?

yes, it says the yoke is connected. I will try recalibrating it and see if that helps at all. :)

You may wish to attempt to take-off in spot view to look at your control surfaces, or just stay parked and move the yoke.

You are correct in going through the control recalibration to see how the various axes are calibrated. I also wonder if during your move some cable swapping occured and Win did not recognize the device reassignments.

Generally you only have to delete the fs2002.cfg if all is messed up. FS will rebuild it but you will have to redo all your preferences, sensitivities, and assignments. It should not affect your software keys.

This beats reinstalling FS and is less disastrous. It has fixed issues for several folks, but should only be done if no other solutions work.

Your joystick might have got damaged during the move. Use outside view to see if elevator and ailerons are moving. If one is not then joystick probably bad, but try uninstalling and reinstalling joystick first. Good luck (I just had to F-15 joysticks go bad 3 weeks apart, bought the Saitek Cyborg 3d gold and wish I had bought them a long time ago, great stick).
