Default Need help for new video card - Which is best for FS?

OK, I am offering to sell my MSI ti4200 128MB to a friend for 85 bucks, I picked it up for $245 Canadian last August, so the 1 year warranty is about to expire. Is 85 dollars reasonable? here's my model # for the card. 0208105714.

I HEARD THAT GEFORCE FX SERIES CARDS ARE NO GOOD FOR FS2004? IS THIS TRUE?

I AM LOOKING TO BUY A new card, as my TI4200 is not offering me 100fps CONSTANT in counter strike and reasonable satisfaction in FlightSimulator, even on my XP2200+, 512 PC2700 ddr ram computer.. Please let me know which one is the best performance wise and quality wise and COst wise. I am lookign to spend a maximum of 250 dollars Canadian. Of course if I sell my ti4200 to my friend the cards below will be cheaper for me!

    GF FX5200 TDR128
    G4Ti4800SE-VTD8X 128M DDR
    GF FX5600 DT
    GF FX5200 V9520TD TVO/DVI
    Radeon 9200 128M DDR DVI/TVO
Radeon 9600 Pro 128M DDR (box)

    Those are my options.

Sorry, can't help ya out. Is that 85 bucks us or canadian. If he/she doesn't take up the offer and you'd ship to SE USA, I'd pay, you might have a deal, of course this is if yuo don't sell it to your friend.

I think the best card there is a FX5600. They are good for flightsimming. All you need to do is install 44.03(I think, maybe a newer driver) and it works fine.

LOL , "GF FX cards NOT good." I'd say the opposite. As of right now, ATI has some problems with their higher models, in fact, it seems like M$ made 2004 specifically for nvidia GPU's.

nope, ati's driver 'support' and general compatability is the fault, nothing to do with fs dood ;-)

I would disagree about ATI's Support, they have allready acknowledged the flickering problem on their website, and I have not seen it on Nvidia's website yet. Some nvidia cards are also suffering from the flickering.

yes, what i said, "compatibility." Means it is, or is not compatible with FS...
