How to Configure the *.cfg File

Hello guys ..

I love Flight Simulator since its 1st release, and I love to fly various aircrafts, mostly the wide-body one. The model, texture, effect, etc. are getting better in time to time. They're all great to me. But some of my downloaded aircrafts, which are the most I like, are have lousy performance, such as unproper landing speed, cruising speed, no smoke effect, etc.

I believe they are very depend on the program configuration inside of .cfg files (panel/sound/aircraft.cfg). I cannot figure out how to modify them due to limitation of my IT knowledge. So far I just do copy and paste from other files which seems ok to me.

Is there any specific instruction, method, or manual for modifying, developing, and configuating the .cfg file in accordance to particular programming??

Any kind of information or advice please ...

What makes this sim so interesting to some people is the fact that you can customize many aspects of the enviornment such as the aircraft's flight dynamics.

You mat particularly want to start with the Aircraft Container SDK.
