i tried a redevous with claudette last night. took off from galvendale fly south east for a while, couldn't find her (no reporting stations on water for fs to update new weather) so i returned to the airport. as soon as she makes land fall i'm heading out again.

I flew around in it this morning in the Barron, but I couldn't find any reported winds in excess of 30 mph. I think the problem is that the reporting points ar several miles away from the heavy winds. I hope to get something stronger this afternoon. I tried the same thing a couple of times last year with the same results?????
