    Is there a way to turn off the yoke in the virtual cockpit view?

    if you mean the actual animated yoke.. then no

    I fly using the keyboard, and though I don't like the vc view, when I do use it, the yoke turns.

    Well... the concept itself of a virtual cockpit is to look like a real cockpit, in 3d. So, there will always be a yoke, as in a real cockpit... :-)
