touchdown effects

i just d/l'ed a new aircraft a few days ago, but i notice then when i land, there is no smoke or tire marks on the runway as with other aircraft no matter how hard or soft the landing is. what do i have to edit to add this effect the the aircraft?

Have a search in the file library using 'Smoke' & 'Touchdown' as key words. You should be able to find a file to add to the .cfg or effects folder that will do what you want.
