ATR 72-500, by F. Sánchez-Castañer Help!

I have been wanting to fly a plane exclusivley, and this is the bird I love. Its got a perfect panel, a wonderful vc (not just bitmaps of a real cockpit lol) sounds, awesome propeller animations, you name it its got it.
But I have a serious problem.
Everytime I land, the back to wheels touch down no problem. But the nose gear goes into the ground, no matter how soft I set it down, even with 10% fuel, and when it goes into the ground, the propellers turn off and end of flight.
Could someone please help me figure this out?
I believe the file is fsca7510.zip on flightsim.com
I really want to know how to get the nosegear to touch down or if there is a button im not hitting.

Dunno but I just downloaded and installed the pup. Don't know bout you all but the list of things I'm planning to do with FS is getting longer every day. FSCOF will a nuthouse.

Open the aircraft.cfg file, and look for:

[contact_points]
static_cg_height=??.????

Change the number for a higher number and see what it does. Hope that helps! If it doesn't help, then put the number to what it was before and try something else. I haven't done that in a while, but I believe this is the parameter that controls the height of 3D model over the ground (i.e a large number will show the plane as hovering, a small number will show it bellow).

just tried adjusting the static height, didnt fix it.
Its weird, like I touch down with the back landing gear, then i lower the nose gear, and it just goes through, and then the engines kill, but a crash doesnt register. I can still use what airspeed i have left and get it up again.

this really sucks lol

You have the old model. Go to avsim and d/l v1.01 that fixed this.
