Default Where is the AI traffic in the flight videos?

I am new to flight sims and have many questions. I'll start with one that so many people must have noticed. I like to buzz some of the AI traffic and record it so I can watch again from different spot plane angles. Unfortunately, when playing back flight videos all the AI traffic disappears, including taxiing planes at airfields. Is this just something I have to put up with?

One more thing. Its great that there is so much freeware available for FS and I'm not complaining but I just wondered why some designers go to great lengths producing planes that look perfect and fly so well but don't put pilots in them. From a spot plane view it looks like there's no one flying the plane.

I'll leave it at that for now. I've a thousand questions!!!

    Thanks

    AD,
You got it! And there's more you will have to 'put up with'. So, don't expect miracles. FS is mainly for flying AC's, not like CFS which is for shooting them up (or, at least buzzing them). AI will not show in 'instant replay' either. You will need a video card with TV out, and hooked up to a VCR to record FS screens/videos', whereupon you should be able to see the AI. (Congrads on first post).

Thanks to napamule for that. I thought I may just have missed something in the settings.Flightsims have come along way since I last had one on my Sinclair 48K spectrum, but I suppose we always want a bit more than we can have.

    Cheers
