I feel disappointed they don't call it as 787.

They probably could call it the 787 when it's completed design
and into production. I believe all of the "7" series aircraft
had an "n" or "x" between the 7's while in the design stage..777
was 7X7, for example.

Yes, but theres one small problem in the fact it doesnt exist yet! therefore how exactly are designers supposed to create it?There is however an advantage in this as nobody could say the model isnt accurate
