Default Significance of second number in aircraft file ?

Can someone tell me what is the significance of the second number in the aircraft file?

For example. What does the 124 in this line mean?

    AC#36,124,"Piper Cherokee 180 Paint2"

I need to know because I am trying to create my first AI flight list and I need to introduce new aircraft.

    Thanks.

    Howdy:

it might help you to read through the TrafficTools manual - it's very well written ;-)

Anyway, the number in question is the (desired) cruise speed (in kts) of the AI aircraft. In the aircraft.txt files it has no other use than to help calculate the flying time between two airports. You can find the same number in the respective aircraft.cfg file as the "cruise_speed=" parameter.

According to the manual, cruise speed for AI aircraft can not be less than 50 kts (though I haven't tested it).

    Cheers, Holger
