beaver engine problem

I've just installed Lawrance Mouat's Bush Flying Unlimited version of Fred Banting's Turbo Beaver III. The plane loads correctly with engine running,however when I switch to the panel view the engine dies (with appropriate sound effects) I've tried re starting it but no go.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Check that the fuel tank selector is not set to off,and that the mixture is set to full rich

Don't feel bad,how do you think I found it out?Made exactly the same mistake myself,took hours till I realized what the problem was!I love a happy end!
