    Default Original B747-400 landing problem

    Hi guys!

I'm new to the forum and have a question regarding the landing of the B747-400 (original) in FS2002. Sometimes when I'm on final approach approx 1-2 nm out on the DME, the aircraft just drops rapidly causing it to hit the ground and thus, crash. I have no idea what could be causing this, as it usually happens after long hauls (12hr+), is it a bug in FS? Or am I just bad at flying it? One theory could be to come in higher, but then I am off the GS a bit. My approach speed is usually at around 180 KIAS with the flaps at 20-25 when this occurs, sometimes the KIAS might be around 170 too, which should be enough with about 50% fuel load left.

    Thanks for any suggestions,
    Patrik, Sweden

P.S. I did land it in Santiago this morning, woohoo! =) D.S'.
