The new Lake Renegade...crashes...

Has anyone had any problems with the new Lake Renegade package...I downloaded it from flightsim.com and if i try to load up the plane, FS2002 crashes back to the desktop. I'm running Win XP Pro, and Installed it the right way, everything was smooth. Hmmmm.....I also had an earlier version that worked fine, but I dont think it had the same panel...

I haven't had any problems running it, but my guess would be some type of gauge is causing the problem. I ended up changing the autopilot gauge to the default Bendix King as I couldn't get the included one to work properly. You might need to edit the panel.cfg file and replace some of the custom type radio gauges with default gauges. Just my guess, and always back-up your original.

I also found out that the problem does lie in the panel. Because I aliased the C172 panel to the aircraft, and it worked fine....Hmmmm, which gauge was that autopilot gauge again???

Hey Ryan,
I replaced the "cad_StecSys55ap!autopilot" gauge with the default Bendix King AP gauge. I wasn't having any errors with it, but it didn't work (for me) like it was supposed to. You might have to experiment to see which gauge/s are causing your problem.

Hi its the gauge14=cad_StecSys55ap!altpreselector,78,370,72,35
there is a gauge14=cad_StecSys55ap!altpreselectornosnd,78,370,72,35 in the same file that you can use the new cirrus sr20 by Guenter Kraemer also has the same problem.
