IDENTIFYING GRASS TEXTURES?

Grass scenery around runways and elevated terrain in FS2002 are now just snow-like landscapes. After triple-checking everything from display card to reinstalling add-on sceneries, etc. decided to install an additional copy of FS2002 where everything works perfectly.

Instead of losing all the many add-ons, aircrafts, utilities, etc. in the original FS2002 would it be feasible to identify grass textures in the additional good-working copy and replace those in the original snow-white copy?

Any assistance or guidance would be very much appreciated and would - if possible at all - save a lot of needed downloads and reinstallations.

This may be due to seasonal textures being diplayed - try resetting the season (date) in world/date/time menu.If this does not solve your problem, try downloading some seasonal grass textures from this site or avsim - sorry I can't remember the filename.

Thank you for your reply. Have double-checked the season setting (which I always use as summer) and should mention that this abundant snow happens in the tropics.

Will start searching for 'grass textures' and 'seasonal grass textures' in the file library.
