Thread: Flying under bridges

    Default Flying under bridges

Can anyone tell me where the best bridges in FS2002 are? I flew under the Bay Bridge in Maryland at 20 ft above sea level today. What fun. There must be more. Thanks.

The new york bridges in downtown are awesome because there are several, at least 2 in a row that I know of.
Then there is the bay bridge in KSFO, and then there is the golden gate bridge.

Take a look at the default London scenery - plenty there in the City.

Also, go to London City Airport (EGLC) and take off and head East - a few miles ahead is the Dartford flyover.

Finally, go to Bristol in the UK and fly west-ish. As the land splits at the bit where Wales joins England, you will find the Severn Bridge.

I put a posting a while back of the default 737 flying under that one on the Screenshot Forum. Also did it inverted....

Try the one at Mackinaw in Michigan or the ones in Pittsburgh, Pa. and probably Seattle, Wash.

    Hello, Mark,
Apparently a lot of us do this fooling around.
Try following the Seine in Paris. There's an addon set of bridges, PontsdeParis done by Olivier Bochu. I believe I got it here in the flightsim.com library.
    All in good fun.

How about flying THROUGH Tower Bridge on the River Thames in London. Once you've gone through it, turn round and go under it, but keep your feet up!

    Flying under the Seine bridges??????

Last time I was in Paris, there was about 20 feet between the water and the top of the archways, and that's at low tide. In reality, you'd probably have about 5 feet of leeway horizontally and almost none vertically. Sounds like fun.

there are two bridges that are excellent to fly under in Los Angeles harbor, you can find them by heading southeast out of KTOA/Zamparini airfield
