Fired up my Servinfo this afternoon at around 2130z and was shocked to see over 850 controllers and pilots online, the event was a very great success.

Yep, I flew from Dublin to Frankfurt and was overall very impressed. I was online when they made the "record broken" announcement :D. While there were quite a few obviously inexperienced online pilots, and some hiccups in the ATC areas I flew through, I must say, Ben, that as usual the German controllers were outstanding!

Hiya Ben!
I did Zürich-Heathrow and it was great! London was packed to bursting. On final, all these planes suddenly came into visual range and it was all a blur of orange callsigns everywhere. I feels great to have taken part in that and to have helped break the record. Where did you fly Ben?

I flew LIRF-EDDF. Rome was doing a fine job, they handled the traffic without any problems. Enroute, it was great to be passed from one center to another... it felt very real. Frankfurt (my homebase) was good as always.
I had originally planned to continue to Paris, but the French didnīt have many controllers online, so I made it Zurich. It was a short hop from Frankfurt, but also a very enjoyable one.
I hope there will be another OneSky event!

Funny, EDDF-LIRF was planned to be my second flight, but I found I didn't really have enough time. I'm going to do it some night this week, and then do a hop back to London.
