Thread: help please ...i need to correct this ai aircraft landing behaviour!

1. Default help please ...i need to correct this ai aircraft landing behaviour!

i did some flight plans for an airline in the caribbean that uses a dhc6 twin otter. The airports have short runways and the twin otter that i downloaded when used as an ai aircraft for the flightplans porspoises over the short runways. on approach it seems that it can do the landing but at the runway threshold it porpoises to a height drops again and repeats the porpoising about twice by about this time it has used up the entire runway and just proceeds to fly aimlessly. can someone provide some guidelines what i can to to stop the aircraft porpoising unnecessarily that is adjusting some component in the aircraft .cfg file or .air file.. please please help

thanks

the name of the file is
dhc6win22

it is a winair repaint of the dash6 premier flight group

it can be found on both flightsim and avsim
as a matter of fact the repaint is not the issue bit the design of the cfg and air file there are other dhc6 repaints but they all have the same cfg and air file.

A new upload at AVSIM - dhc-6_suisse.zip may help you. Try using their *.air and aircraft.cfg files to see if it flies better.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-09-03 AT 10:43AM (EST)[p]downloaded it and tried it out...it behaves the same way , still porpoising too much. despite its larger file size.
