Changing active runaways

Hi! all you there,

Just a simple question, if anybody can help me.

How to change the active runaway in some airports?

ATC, here in Spanish airports, drive you to wrong runaways far from the real world ones for landing or take off, which bothers me so much. So I'll be very grateful if you help me.

Change the wind direction in the weather options before you start your flight.

ATC is set up in FS2002 such that the longest runway at an airport is the only one to be used. Say 9-27 is 11,000 feet long. And say that there is a perpendicular runway, 36-18, that is slightly shorter, say 10,500 feet. Even if the wind is blowing directly from the north (360), you will still get vectors to either runway 27 or runway 9, since it is the longest, even though runway 36 would be the appropriate runway.

This is fixable!! Using, AFCAD, I would reset the length of 36-18 so that it was also 11,000 feet. Now ATC searches for the longest runway, and finds 2 (4). Even though it doesn't show up graphically, a difference of 250 feet on either end of this 10,500 foot runway will not alter operations. Now you have 4 options, not just 2.
