    Default need hardware help

    hi all i have the following spec
    1.7ghz intel celeron 128 ram 40 gighardisk and a tnt2 pro with 32ram and on flight sim i cant seem to get good results my framerate is about 17 to 20 fps but i get bad stuttering what should i do to make it run smoother any ideas?

    I think that more RAM is the answer to your problems. It's dirt cheap these days so updating to 512MB or even Gig shouldn't set you back very much.

    Get more ram - 256 or even 512. But your biggest problem is your prehistoric video card. If you've got an agp slot rather than pci, go for a ti4200 128mb or better. You won't know yourself. Failing that, you might update your driver by getting the latest detonator from www.guru3d.com

    thank you jeff it turns out i was useing an old windows xp driver which pretty much sucked now i get far less stutering and also now mip mapping doesnt blur as much as it did
