Squawkbox problem again

When I get a call from atc and click the SB to reply it pauses the FS. I cannot get SB to run in the flight sim window at the same time...

Sounds to me like you need to do two things:

1) Go to FS Settings and deselect the "Pause on Task Switch" option. That way, when you switch to any other programs FS will continue to fly.

2) Download from VATSIM (aor just about anywhere else) a file called FSHost.dll. Put it in your FS modules folder, and look for it under the Modules title on the FS menu bar. When you are ready to go online, select the FSHost module from the menu and it will open a greay box in your cockpit. Then, when you start SB, it will automatically appear in that box. No more switching required (though I find it still dumps me out to the desktop for subsidiary windows, like filing the flight plan and logging on).
