    Default Panel Problems

    Hey all,
It started last night, like when I am flying or whatever, and I go to an outside view, or open Gps or radio shack, then the panel looks like the attached file. Then it fades back. really weird any ideas?

Set your color lever in FS2002 to 32 bit from 16 bit, and you will see your problems go away.

While it may be true that running in 32bit could make it stop doing that,I would not call that the fix. You should be able to use 16 bit if you want to,don't let the wrong driver or whatever the real problem is dictate what settings you use.

I think that it's not a matter of driver versions since I tried all version from 6.xx up to 30.82 with my nVIDIA card. I have to either turn off AA or switch to 32bit to avoid those purple disturbances.

KC, sure you can run in 16-bit if you want, but you will obviously get less performance and colour depth if you do. It's still your choice, though.

Yes I agree,it makes the sky look better to me.But my point is that running in 16 bit is not the problem. It merely exploits the problem.Running in 32 bit will allow you to bypass whatever it is that's causing the bad graphics, but it does not fix or correct the problem.
