FS2002 Won't Start under XP-PRO

I'm running XP-Pro on a Sony PCG-GRX690 w/ 512MB and FS2002 refuses to start. Sometime's I can get it to say that there is "not enough memory to start program". Which I think is goofy. I don't have *too* many background tasks running...

ANY IDEAS? ANY ONE?

This is really bumming me out. I have a few transpacific flights coming up and I would love to work on my IFR procedures in all that dead time.

Sounds like your computer is being a #%(*&@#. Mine does it all the time :)

It pops up a black COMMAND window for 1 second and then dies. It may print out a "not enough memory for program to load" message.

Nope - it came with Win XP installed. There are two version of XP. XP-Home and XP-Pro. Not too many differences between them.

Since it is pro, enter your administrator's account, start fs2002 from this account. If you are already in the admin account and it still doesn't work, then you may have other problems. If it finally works in your admin account, then try your user account.
