Thread: change of planes

  1. Default change of planes

I have been flying the a320 airbus in fs2k2 for about a year now and have got to the stage where I can land it on a dime.
Anyway, I have decided to change and am trying out a 767 that I recently downloaded. Wow, it really feels like going from a sports job to a bus. Also the slightest hard bump on the runway when landing and I end up skidding along on the nose where the front wheels come off.

Changing the subject, I think those pilots in the AI aircraft are amasing. I watched one land at Malta today and he managed to leave the runway on the first turnoff. This is really impossible in a heavy, but amasing to watch. I could picture the passengers being fossilised into their tables with the hard braking.

Those "Heavies" drove me crazy for a year. Just couldn't get anything above a 757 to land without getting buried.

The problem is these biggies can not land with a full load of fuel. On short hops or just practicing touch and goes, be sure to reduce your fuel load to 15 to 25 %. NO more gear breaking landings!
