Default Powerline Utility?

Just thinking, how much work would be involved in making AFCAD style powerline utility, where users could design and upload a file showing their local power cables?

The towers then appear sitting on top of the mesh scenery in FS2k2.

Would this be possible or even a popular concept for a program?

Powerlines for the most part aren't very close to airports, for obvious reasons.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-02-03 AT 08:17AM (EST)[p]Powerlines are not located near airports for obvious reasons? Go on, where's the punchline? ;-)

Edit:
The reference to AFCAD was meant to describe the way in which users could add co-ordinates into some sort of database which would then generate an change in FS2k2, rather than to mean that these powerlines would only be seen near airports. Hope this clears it up.

As we know, powerlines are a useful VFR navigation tool, and a major obstacle for low flying/ forced landings.
