Graphic's on FS2002

Hi all

Can anyone help with a little annoying problem i have with FS2002.

When approaching an airport at between 10 and 5 miles out the airport and ramp area all seem to appear just above the horizon floating in mid-air, once a little closer the airport settles down to appear "on the ground" - can anyone tell me what it is as the approachin scenery seems to roll towards me rather than being visible from some miles out.

Any advise or help is appreciated.

Could this be add-on airport scenery?
If this is default and is happening in an extreme latitude (North or South) then this is a known bug of the sim which is mentioned in the readmme.rtf of the FS2002 main folder.
