Thread: MD-80 Panel/Aircraft

  1. Default MD-80 Panel/Aircraft

Would anybody know where you can find a good MD-80 panel for FS2k2? Heck, even an entire package (aircraft, panel, sound, etc)? Any ideas? I used to have Paul Golding's MD-80 panel for FS2K, but I can't get it to work with FS2K2.

    Thanks,

He also does a lot of flightsimming but he uses the "767 Pilot in Command" panel for his FS MD-82. Well it doesn't look like an MD-80 panel of course but there isn't any more realistically working panel available.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-16-03 AT 08:29PM (EST)[p]Hi Rob,

Actually, Im using Paul's MD-80 panel in FS2K2.

There was a patch for it a while back.

It's working for me, anyway, but you cant activate alt hold on the panel with the mouse, ...you have to program a button for it on your joystick or control yoke.

Let me know if ya want it, I'll email it to you.

Paul's MD-87 panel was patched too. But the flaps gauge doesnt work.

The MD-87 panel was yet again "converted" and the gauge was replaced. That is another zip file. If ya need that too, just let me know.

I have quite a few worthy MD's I fly, but Im at work, so I'll run through em when I get home, and let you know what Im flying.

For Payware MD's, I might suggest:

    http://www.vansairco.com/index.eng.php

    Cheers,
    Rich

EDIT: search the flightsim.com library for:

    mdk2pnlz.zip

That file is both the modified MD-80 and MD-87 panels that Paul made originally, and they DO work in FS2K2.

You have the option to use the included freeware gauges, or you
can register the payware "realcrt" gauges that are offered.
    17 bucks.

    Cheers
