I got my hands on yet another monitor today.
now I have a 21" as primary, full screen,
a 17" flat panel for throttle quadrant, navigation and similar, and a 15" flat attached above my 21" for overhead panel and such....:-)
the 21" and 17" used my geforce4 TI4400, good fps.
the new (old) 15" uses an old PCI S3 trio 64 V+ 4 NV card.
all works well, since my system is a 3.06 ghz, fps doesn't really suffer yet.
even running the new Ready for Pushback 747-200 on this rig, still good fps with all these monitor. 15 at meigs2k2 by Colin McGlothlin, who all know is rather heavy (the scenery, not Colin...)
BUT, it does dip from time to time of course..!
would I get better fps with a newer PCI card?
or doesn't it not matter at all perhaps? other parameters are ahead of this cards performace?
so, what do you say?
