Airport 2000

My wife got FS 2002 for me for Christmas and Airport 2000 Vol.2 as well. FS 2002 is great but I have not opened the Airport box yet because we will take it back if not very compatible. I've searched out two posts, one saying they get errors of "missing objects" in Vol 2 and another one that says the adventures are not compatible. If it's just the adventures and all else workes great, I may keep it. Are the 3rd party downloads for FS2002 just as good/better. Should I keep the Airport 2000 and use for FS2002?

Airport 2000 vol. 2 works fine for me on FS 2002 (Pro).

I haven't tried the adventures, but I don't know if they will work, as the technology has moved on since then.

What about vol 3 of Airport 2000? It seems not to be compatible with FS2002. Please tell me if you know.

I havent used any of the Airport series. But I do know that they were designed for FS98 and FS2000. Therefore they dont have most of the new features that FS2002 has. If I was u, I would take it back and get an addon designed for FS2002 that ur interested in.

Wilco say that Airport 2000 vol 1 & 2 are not compatable with FS2002, but Vol 3 is with a patch available on their web site.

If you are just looking for airport scenery, the UK2000 stuff is pretty good, I have all 5 parts installed.

If you are just looking for the odd airport scenery, there are quite a lot available for free download.
