Installing SP1?

I haven't installed Windows XP SP1 yet because i heard it causes some wierd problems with fs2002. however, this was months ago. Have solutions been found and is it safe to update to SP1?

I installed Windows XP SP1 when it was first released and have not had any problems at all with FS2002 or anything else for that matter.

It works fine for me.

I double Davids experiences. No problems with XP, ServicePack 1 and FS2k2.

I initially had some problems with SP1 but it works ok now. I would recommend you do it because there are security issues addressed and automatic updates almost evey week. If you have problems, post them here. I'm sure someone will try to help you.
This forum is now user friendly.

If you have one of the GeForce cards, you may have to install the latest drivers.

Although I've heard of problems with SP1, I didn't experience any when I installed the upgrade.

(Nvidia 40.92 drivers installed for a GeForce 440 mx)

I have a 64MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 500 graphics card, and after installing SP-1, the text in FS2002 was distorted. Installing the most recent NVIDIA drivers fixed the problem.
