I know I've heard some payware companies whisper about building one of these trainers with all the realistic features but it seems up in the air..I think it would be one of the most well worth add-ons considering how good these people can build payware because of course I got my private pilot license in a C-150 and for many other people who dream of the big skies that is where they wil most likely start off, I'm still at this current rating but hate paying for those expensive hours to go up there and keep current and would prefer simulating on it for a one time fee, I hope this is not a repeat post but if not..Who else would like to see one of these birds built by the big payware people?

While I can see the benefit, why would i pay 24.95% American, which is almost 50 bucks up here in Canada, for a virtual C150 when 69$ gets me an hour in the real thing? all FS2002 is good for is (maybe) simulating IFR work, so a C150 is not extraordinarily useful there.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't buy one.

I learnt in both Piper PA28's and C152/172's. A properly behaving 152 would be excellent. (Open the window and stick your head out? hehe) Perhaps make it an aerobat and you'd get 2 uses for the price of one.

Currently I do a lot in the DF Archer because the flight model is soooo accurate. I do VFR's, IFR's, ccts, etc and am currently doing a long trip. I gets me jollys from it.

But as a trainer aircraft, I'd rather see the 152 with the minimal panel that you usually find they have. This would also help keep the price down.

I personally prefer Piper, but I would buy a C152.

Hi All,
We have a very nice 152 that was developed by Roger Dial for our 152 Pro Trainer series. Some other projects fell into the way but the good news is we still will make this available I just cant pin a time frame on it, but not too long from now. We will deliver a unsurpassed aircraft, flight model and accurate panel.

Although the 152 Pro Trainer package is on hold for a little while, we have decided that we will release the single model apart from that project as we have had many requests.

I should have some news about it for you all soon.

Id rather have a Lancair or Cirus done in payware, we have enough of those type of payware aircraft.

But most of all a nice sweet CorpJet would be supreme.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-04-02 AT 07:49PM (EST)[p]Looking forward to it, Jim.

But please don't overdevelop it. I've yet to see a 152 with a full panel. Many of the 152's I've seen or flown have only one radio, no DME, rarely an ADF and occasionally a transponder. :-lol The one I trained in had the luxury of wheel farings. hehe. Cross country, that's usually done in a 172 or a Piper.

Anyway, thanks for the notification. Any idea how long? (Weeks, months?)

Hi Andrew,
Understood. I cant give a time frame but lets just say probably sooner than you think.
Best,
