    Default Reflective textures question

I'm trying (for the first time) to create an aircraft repaint. My question is does an aircraft have to be created in gmax to have reflective textures? A little bit of research makes me think so, but I want to make sure.

FYI the repaint I'm doing is a USAF AWACS using the model created by Rey Lopez and Erick Cantu. Specifically it will be from the 964th AACS, my old squadron. I'm mostly doing this for myself, but if it turns out good enough I'll see about posting it.

    Thanks for the help...

Either GMax or FSDS2. Our E-3 was made in FSDS1 so it does not support reflections, but I suppose an update down the line would be possible?

    FLIGHTFX POLICY
1.) We design for reality, not for idealism.
Thus, you will not see virtual cabins on our aircraft. You can not see inside the real thing anyway, unless you are looking into the sun. You will find virtual cockpits but they will not be visible from outside for the same reason.
2.) We design for people with real computers. Thusly, we will not waste polygons on superfluous parts. We will use a texture when there is no noticeable difference between it and a group of performance wasting parts. We will model our aircraft efficiently. If you do not like it, too bad.
3.) We will give you the latest features, but we WILL NOT sacrifice visual accuracy to implement them. Accuracy comes before eye candy.[/font size]

That would be wonderful if you (or someone) would do an update so reflections are possible. Eventually I want to learn gmax so I can do a Block 30/35 E-3, but frankly I hope someone beats me to it. I haven't done anything with gmax beyond installing it. :)
