Shutting down

Hello, when i am in MS FS game zone and in a multiplayer flight i cannot leave computer for more than a couple of minutes otherwise the screen picture disappears and computer seems to go into standby mode. When i try to recover FS game the screen is just a mess of colours and i have to restart and join game all over again.
I have disabled standy,hibernation and screen saver but the problem still occurs. I am running Windows XP and have Broadband connection. Can anyone help please.

In the screensaver section, under power, do you have the monitor shutting off at any spacific amount of time? Personally I have my power settings all shut off. If not off, then at least increase the power off time to something greater that the amount of time you are leaving your computer with FS running.
