Thread: Fuel tank selector

    Default Fuel tank selector

    Hi Experts

I have downloaded a couple of Twin Otters.
They have that strange behaviour starting consumption fuel from the "Left" tank - and not from "All".

Does anyone know where and how to change that parameter in the "Aircraft.cfg" or "*.air" file.

I just use a panel with a fuel selector switch incorporated.

    Michael,

Do you have a panel recommendation for people who are willing to try installing a panel but who aren't panel experts?

    Henrick,

The Left Tank Selected, is in the gauge itself.

If you want, Attatch a copy of the Panel cfg. file, to an E Mail to me. I will install the Cessna 182S Tank Selecter, where the original was, and mail it back to you.

    Good morning Mike,

I'll post one tonight because I'm at work right now (where's no FS available) and I don't remember correctly who was the creator. But the one I have is great so I think that it's worth waiting for it. ;-)

    Hi Randy

Thanks for the reply. If the problem is in the gauge, I think I can handle a Fuel Selector gauge change by myself.

But thanks anyway for the advise. I will try that tonight. If I should run into troubles I will let you know.

As promised here we go: I use "The DeHavilland Twin Otter Vistaliner" panel version 1 by Dave Haskell (29/03/02) and I like it.

But beeing a virtual captain for a virtual airline I don't have enough virtual spare time to fly anything else than the B737. ;-)
