jeffmcnair
Just like most AI aircraft don't show up, trying to remember how to do this?? I'm just trying to remove certain aircraft repaints from showing up in the selection menu that I'll never use, so I can select and navigate through them easier. Like the QualityWings 757 house livery repaints, for example. Would setting the model=0, in the aircraft cfg, of the ones I don't want to show up work?? Or would setting the ones I don't want to show, to [fltsim.x], and then re-numbering the aircraft cfg work?? Thanks, Jeff
JSkorna
One way is to re-name the panel.cfg file. http://www.air-source.us/images/sigs/000219_195_jimskorna.png
lnuss
Try commenting out the lines for that repaint. A // at the beginning of the line makes it a comment. Larry N. As Skylab would say: Remember: Aviation is NOT an exact Science!
CrazyDaveIowa
I save all aircraft in complete form in a folder. When I come across what you describe; I erase the whole 'offending' texture in the aircraft cfg renumbering as needed. I leave the texture folders in place. If I decide to reinstate the texture, I can go back to the saved original copy and paste back in. If you wish to eliminate the whole aircraft (default AC specifically) but remain as AI; delete the panel folder. ezunino
In the aircraft cfg put hide in panel. The Airplane won't show in selector.
vgbaron
If you just want to hide the repaints, in the aircraft.cfg file locate the fltsim.x section and just add .OFF to the name in the Texture= line. Or you could get SimstarterNG which will do it for you. deleting the panel.cfg will remove the entire aircraft and all paints. jeffmcnair
Ok, great. Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah, can't do the remove panel, in this case, as there are other repaints that I may want to keep, in the same folder, that share the panel. Ok, that's what I was going to try, just remove them from the cfg and then just re-number it, but setting texture=OFF is even better. I'll try that. Thanks again Jeff
