Cant find download exe

I downloaded my flight sim purchase, zip file showed up fine. I extracted the files and it placed them into a file called C:programfiles\microsoftgames\flightsim9. This file shows up but there is no executable file to start the application. Where do I find this?

Why did you place the extracted files into your Sim? Did the instructions say to do that? Some addons do not have an executable file. You usually have to know the appropriate folders to place them into.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

When you place the folders (Main, model, panel, sound and texture) under 'Aircraft' folder, there is a aircraft.cfg in that airplane's Main folder. That is where Sim looks. It reads the info in aircraft.cfg (and looks at 'sim=xxx' (where 'xxx' is the name of the 'xxx.air' file)) and puts them together and when you choose it by clicking on name the Sim will 'load' the aircarft and you can then fly it. So there is no 'exe'. Just go to 'Aircraft/Select Aircraft' to find. Click on it and the click 'Fly Now'. Done. Next!
