What a beautiful aircraft! I remember seeing one just after I bought my Ercoupe and having pangs of regret. There it was, small, sleek, well polished and looking like it was going 200 MPH! I felt those pangs until, my good friend and mentor, Ken Agnew, explained to me that the Swift took certain piloting skills that I had yet to acquire. So much a pilots airplane were they that it is doubtful that "The Great and Natural Aviator", wherever he is, could fly it! I have the lovely Tempco-Swift Bill Lyons did for FS9 (slightly modified) which I love to fly; it's as close to the real thing as I'll ever get. Thank you, Adam, for reminding me about this special plane!

Top shelf work with the captures of the flight of your pretty Swift Adam. Lots of nice, revealing perspective views and that super Orbx scenery to boot.  :D

My presence here will be spotty at best for the next few weeks. My boot HD is dying. Getting lots of clickety clack noises when booting up. I blow hot air on it to get it up and running, but after 10-15 minutes I get the nasty blue screen of death. Got a new HD on order, but I don't know if I can keep the old one running long enough to clone it. May end up doing a complete reinstall. I do have everything backed up X3 so that will help.

Sorry to hear about your computer Larry, I keep holding my breath as mine is about 4 yrs old now. :( Nothing worse than reinstalling everything, as least you have it backed up. Well good luck and thank you. :)

"26 miles across the sea Santa Catalina is waiting for me. Santa Catalina the island of romance."

Inspired by that song a buddy of mine and I checked a small runabout out from Special Services near Long Beach and made the trip over in the 60's. We thought we'd run out of gas going each way!

It certainly was pretty but not worth the sunburns we got into trouble for getting!:o:o The Marines don't like their guys to get a sunburn!!!!:mad:

Michael

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
