opcartmell
My grandson's other grandfather gave him a Saitek X52 controller and a new copy of FSX deluxe. He has a new, powerful laptop (I7 processor, Win 10 Home, the works). However, the X52, though new and in the box, was several years old with outdated drivers. The Saitek website has drivers for Win 10 and Plug ins. First, do I need the drivers and secondly, what are the plugins? My grandson and I will appreciate all help. aerosim31
Hi, I also have the same joystick, its amazing. You do need the drivers and software for the programming facility e.g. custom functions for the buttons. I also have the Radio panel, which initialises when i run P3D. I am not sure if the plugin is involved in that process or it is driven from the drivers but i downloaded it in any case and had no issues. If I'm right the plugin has the default controls for the joystick i believe for that particular simulator.(I could be wrong)
