airkevin
I'm thinking there must be a reason why every flight in and out of New York got cancelled. I can't even see the bloody plane!!!! http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a297/AirKevin/Screenshot%20137_zps8ls0je0y.png http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a297/AirKevin/Screenshot%20139_zpsp3dgf4a5.png Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway four left, cleared for take-off. Rupert
Yes, that's one issue. Another is there are probably few able to get to the airport to fly anyway!! And misery is sitting in a plane for hours as it taxis to and from the de-ice station and still can't take off!! Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. Rupert
BTW: After seeing your screenie I made a short hop from KJFK to KBOS using RW weather and it was interesting IFR and taxiing every foot of the way. liner simpilot
This is Flt Sim, can you imagine what real Capt feel's to go from point A to point B? this is still a great pic depicting flying in dense fog is like. Kenny

Kenny Kenny, I agree! Having said that, flying low and slow in mountains in a chopper during monsoon season without modern goodies like a GPS can tighten you up a bit as well! The only good thing about those flights was, the other guys could hear you but couldn't see you to shoot at you! ;) Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. airkevin
Luckily this flight was landing, so de-icing wasn't an issue. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway four left, cleared for take-off.
