asos
Does anyone know what the Alphasim Admiral Kuznetsov location is and how I can get on its deck? Any help will be appreciated....
jgf
It should appear in your airports list, select it as you would any airport and you will be placed on the flight deck. You may have to scroll around the airport list to find it; some of the carriers I have installed appear under the ship's name, some appear in the country nearest their location, a couple appear in "Carriers" (I wish I knew how to edit this, I'd put them all in "Carriers", where they would be easy to find). Purists here may well see problems with this method, but it seems to work: in ADE: File -> Open Airport from BGL then select: Tools -> Change Airport Reference Data change State/Province and City Compile back to the BGL. asos
wombat, Thanks. I guess the same method can be used to move the carrier to another location, or not?
PhantomTweak
I believe that IS moving the carrier to another location. In FS9, carriers are essentially airports parked out in the ocean, lake river, where ever. When you make the changes the great wombat mentioned, you are changing the location of the boat. I believe. I am NOT a scenery kinda guy. Never even used ADE. Does this help? Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! asos
I found the locations: Admiral Kuznetsov (Anadyr) ICAO Designation = KZ12 Admiral Kuznetsov (Canada) ICAO Designation = KZ13 Admiral Kuznetsov (Lebanon) ICAO Designation = KZ11 Admiral Kuznetsov (Norway) ICAO Designation = KZ14 Admiral Kuznetsov (Panama) ICAO Designation = KZ15 Admiral Kuznetsov (Persian Gulf) ICAO Designation = KZ16 Admiral Kuznetsov (Russia) ICAO Designation = KZ17 Admiral Kuznetsov (Taiwan) ICAO Designation = KZ18 Admiral Kuznetsov (Turkey) ICAO Designation = KZ19 Admiral Kuznetsov (Taiwan) ICAO Designation = KZ18 For example: Admiral Kuznetsov (Taiwan) You go to the country, Taiwan, then you type the ICAO -- KZ18 -- and you find that one. Likewise for all other ICAO's above..
old_wombat
I believe that IS moving the carrier to another location. Pat☺ Well I've done what I reported; and strangely, the carrier has stayed where it was. And I'm not "the great wombat". I'm just Plain Yoghurt. Steve from Murwilllumbah.
