av8tor98 Posted September 24, 2016 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I'm still using P3D 3.2 and can't get ASCA to inject sky and cloud textures into the sim. I've had an open ticket at HiFi for over a week now and no solution yet. It has now been turned over to the development group for more troubleshooting. I have no issues with it working in FSX, however. It seems something is blocking the textures from being injected into the sim, but can't figure out why...yet. FSX and P3D reside on their own drives...apart from the OS drive. I have downloaded P3D 3.4 and intend to install it, but I'm afraid I may run into the same problem with ASCA. vgbaron Posted September 24, 2016 Author Share Posted September 24, 2016 You should go to 3.4 anyway - it's smoother and better than 3.2. If ASCA doesn't work with 3.4 then you know you have something system specific that's blocking it. If it does work, you know that there was something with your 3.2 setup causing issues. If you have a ticket open I'm sure HiFi will sort it out. av8tor98 Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 I'm inching closer to uninstalling 3.2 and installing 3.4, but I have a feeling that whatever has blocked ASCA from injecting cloud and sky textures into 3.2 may do the same for 3.4. P3D settings are as they should be, and so far nothing has turned up to be the culprit. It's weird that FSX doesn't have any issues with this but P3D does. I hope to hear from the development group this week.
