Abernpro Posted July 24, 2016 Share Posted July 24, 2016 Newbie (sort of) here with a question about Windows 10. After many years away from my FSX Gold Edition, I am jumping back in to it. My new computer is running Win 8.1, and my computer nerd son says we should take the free upgrade to Windows 10. Question is, do I upgrade first before I install FSX or should I install FSX first before the upgrade? Does it make a difference? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zswobbie1 Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 Its a case of a half dozen, or 6! ;-) Some say yes & others say no. If you already have FSX installed, you can just update to Windows 10. You have a 30 day window to be able to roll back to your previous operating system. Personally, I had FS2004 & P3D installed, for quite some time, before upgrading to Windows 10.
